What is microsuction
Microsuction removes earwax using a fine suction device while the clinician views the ear canal directly through a microscope — without flushing any water into the ear. It is widely considered one of the safer and more comfortable methods of wax removal, with no soaking or syringing required.

What to expect
Using olive oil or softening drops for a few days beforehand can make wax easier to remove. This is general guidance only and will be confirmed by your clinician at the appointment.
