1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of thekensingtonclinics.co.uk and the pharmacy and clinical services provided under the Kensington Clinics brand by Stickland Chemist and H Lloyd Chemist. Stickland Chemist is at 6 The Arcade, South Kensington Underground Station, London SW7 2NA and can be contacted on 020 7589 4186. H Lloyd Chemist is at 5 Hammersmith Road, London W14 8XJ and can be contacted on 020 7603 4761. By using our website, booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to these terms and should also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Regulation

Our pharmacy premises are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and our pharmacists practise in accordance with their professional and legal obligations. Registration details can be checked using the GPhC online register.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to book or use services independently, unless a service is provided with the involvement of a parent or guardian and is clinically appropriate. Individual services may have additional eligibility requirements.

4. Our services

We provide NHS and private pharmacy and clinical services, including dispensing, travel health, vaccinations and other services described on this website. All clinical services are subject to assessment by a suitably qualified healthcare professional. We may decline or postpone treatment, vaccination or medicine supply where it would be unsafe, clinically inappropriate or unlawful. We provide services with reasonable skill and care but cannot guarantee a particular clinical outcome.

5. Bookings and appointments

Online appointments are arranged through Cal.com. A booking is confirmed when you receive confirmation. Please provide complete and accurate information, as our advice and treatment depend on it. You may cancel or reschedule an appointment without a cancellation fee or deposit. We may reschedule or cancel because of clinician availability, stock, safety or suitability.

6. Prescriptions and medicines

Private and NHS prescriptions are dispensed in accordance with the prescription, applicable law and professional standards. Controlled drugs are handled strictly in accordance with the Misuse of Drugs legislation. Medicine availability cannot be guaranteed. For safety and legal reasons, dispensed medicines cannot normally be returned or exchanged after leaving the pharmacy, except where we made a dispensing error or the product is faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.

7. Prices and payment

Current prices for private services are shown on the website or confirmed before treatment. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Kensington Clinics does not store full payment-card details. NHS charges apply where required by NHS rules.

8. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights. Cancellation rights for services booked at a distance may vary where you ask us to begin providing a service within the statutory cancellation period, where a service has been fully performed, or where medicines or personalised healthcare services are involved.

9. Website use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, interfere with the website or reuse its content beyond personal, non-commercial use without permission.

10. Intellectual property

Website text, graphics, logos, branding and design are owned by Kensington Clinics or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law.

11. Health information

Website information is general and does not replace personalised advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional. Travel, entry and vaccination requirements can change. In an emergency call 999 or attend your nearest A&E. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, call NHS 111.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for unforeseeable loss, business loss arising from consumer use, or loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied to us.

13. Privacy and technology providers

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Providers include Cal.com for bookings, Stripe for payments, Glide for operational records, Framer for the website and cookie consent, and YL Digital as a software partner and data processor.

14. Complaints

For a complaint about a private service, contact the pharmacy involved by telephone. We will consider the concern fairly, investigate where appropriate and respond without unnecessary delay.

15. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, technology or legal obligations.

16. General

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales without removing mandatory consumer protections.
